We’re looking for someone wonderful to help coordinate Qwids, our after-school group created by and for LGBTQIA+ kids aged 6–12.

Qwids is a relaxed, affirming space where kids can make friends, get creative and be themselves. The Project Officer will help coordinate the weekly Tuesday sessions, support our volunteers and placement students, and build connections with local schools, families and LGBTQIA+ organisations.

We’re looking for someone who understands the needs of LGBTQIA+ children, enjoys working with kids and can help keep Qwids child-led, inclusive and welcoming.

The role is 3–4 hours a week until December 2026, paid at $45.28 an hour, with regular Tuesday afternoon work during school terms.
